Are these macros? I could also create them myself, right?
No. Macros are just lists of already existing Studio One commands that are executed in a sequence. In macros, you can only use commands that are already available in Studio One. Macros can't add new functionality.
Scripts, however, can add entirely new functionality to Studio One that wouldn't be possible only by using macros. Navigation Essentials is the first Studio One scripting add-on that can be officially installed inside Studio One and adds new commands to core functionality of Studio One. Although Navigation Essentials contains scripts rather than macros, this add-ons also includes a number of macros to help you to get started with the Navigation Essentials commands.
How to install the add-on?
Download the .install file and drag it into Studio One (alternatively, drag it onto the Studio One app icon)
Confirm to install the add-on and restart Studio One
To get started, click the Macro Toolbar icon in the Studio One toolbar
If it's not already visible, select the Navigation Essentials macro page in the drop-down list.
Although Navigation Essentials contains scripts rather than macros, we provide this Macro Toolbar page for your convenience because it allows you to access all of the commands in Navigation Essentials from a single toolbar.
How to update to the latest version of Navigation Essentials?
Click the Info button on the right in the Navigation Essentials toolbar to open the download page
Download the new .install file and drag it into Studio One
The install dialog appears and asks you to confirm the installation.
A new update always replaces older versions of Navigation Essentials. You don't need to uninstall them manually.
Do I need to re-install the add-on with every new Studio One update?
No, the Scoring Tools add-on is officially signed by PreSonus. This means that once you've installed this add-on, it remains installed even if you update to a newer version of Studio One.
Is this a PreSonus product?
